Project Manager international solar projects. Independent Energy is on a mission to scale its minigrid activity for rural electrification and is set to realise up to 50 solar minigrids in the coming years. Therefore, we have an opportunity for a Project manager. key activities will be planning and coordination of timely production, procurement, logistics and execution to accelerate the implementation of our off grid solar projects, mainly in Africa. You will be working from our office in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
Your role is to oversee and initiate all tasks of the ongoing solar projects. This ranges from acquiring permits, procurement, assembly, logistics and local operations. In close cooperation with the team of Independent Energy your responsibility is to perform and coordinate the timely execution of all tasks involved as well as keeping track of progress and budget.
This is not a technical role, however experience with the field of work can benefit your suitability.
Qualifications
For this role excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English are required. You have a bachelor in a relevant field and 2 years of experience that qualifies you for the job. You are allowed to work in the Netherlands and live near Haarlem.
