The Business Manager - Environmental Sales drives new machine sales within the Separation portfolio, contributing to market growth, operational planning, and product innovation. This role focuses on developing opportunities in the wastewater sector and driving growth.
Market Development & Sales Strategy
Drive growth by identifying and capitalizing on key market opportunities across target sectors.
Pursue new business development specifically within the wastewater sector and adjacent industries to diversify revenue streams.
Design and execute tailored sales strategies that expand market presence while protecting profitability.
Align regional and global initiatives with corporate objectives to ensure consistent and scalable sales performance.
Customer & Project Management
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on key accounts and long-term engagement.
Work closely with project teams throughout the sales cycle and support contract negotiations to ensure successful outcomes.
Ensure accurate sales reporting and forecasting through effective use of CRM systems and maintain detailed sales records.
Operational Support & Innovation
Support marketing initiatives by representing the business at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
Collaborate on product development and innovation efforts by providing market insights and customer feedback.
Coordinate with sales administration to ensure smooth order processing and efficient project handovers.
Partner with service sales engineers and cross-divisional teams to identify and capitalise on cross-selling opportunities.
Work closely with the environmental team to expand the market for innovative products and solutions such as biogas, wastewater technologies, and agricultural applications.
Environmental Business Focus:
Target key opportunities in water companies, biogas installations, and industrial wastewater sectors.
Collaborate with the Farm Technologies division to enhance the agricultural market.
Conduct market research for innovative products and support testing and trials
Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in sales, ideally within the wastewater sector.
Strong sales acumen with experience in negotiation, contracting, and customer relationship management.
Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated success in driving growth and managing key customer accounts across diverse market areas.
Team player with excellent communication and networking skills.
Customer-oriented and able to engage effectively at all levels
