Job description

• As a Project Engineer - Renewable Energy you will convert energy data into meaningful insights and effective design solutions for commercial and industrial clients. These solutions are focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar/ PV, and Energy Management Systems (EMS).

• You'll analyze clients' energy needs to develop optimized solutions, you'll design and size the BESS and EMS with precision, and select suitable equipment for efficiency & reliability.

• As a Project Engineer - Renewable Energy you'll assess the feasibility of the projects, calculate economic benefits, and develop comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.

• You'll stay ahead of emerging technologies and market trends, evaluate and compare energy offerings for optimal efficiency, and conduct feasibility studies to support informed strategic decisions.

• As a Project Engineer - Renewable Energy you'll provide technical guidance to the teams, present tailored solutions to clients to foster strong partnerships, and develop competitive technical and financial proposals.

Your profile

• You have an Engineering degree in Energy, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent level of education.

• You have relevant experience in designing and sizing energy systems, with a good technical knowledge of BESS, PV systems and EMS.

• You are passionate about innovative renewable energy technologies, and you have the ability to perform economic and financial analyses.

• You have a strong understanding of electricity market mechanisms and grid services.

• Excellent knowledge of English and able to communicate in Dutch and/ or French.

• You are communicative, have strong people skills and can take initiative.
