Your new role
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager on an upcoming conservation project, ensuring smooth operations and high standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in coordinating on-site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management.

Supporting the implementation of health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Liaising with project stakeholders, including architects, conservation specialists, and local authorities.

Maintaining accurate project documentation, including reports and compliance records.

Contributing to problem-solving and decision-making to address site challenges. This junior role requires flexibility, as you will need to travel to various project sites, which may include rural or remote locations, to support the company's diverse portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should bring:

A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

IT proficiency, including familiarity with project management software, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.

A proactive attitude, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Basic knowledge of construction processes, ideally with an interest in conservation or heritage projects.

A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
