  • We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (Wind Infrastructure & Substations) to join a leading renewable energy generation multinational group. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about the renewable energy sector and is looking for a new professional growth!


    Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical substations to ensure a stable and reliable energy supply to wind farms.
    • Propose troubleshooting solutions for electrical defects and issues encountered.
    • Develop and implement maintenance plans for electrical equipment in substations, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
    • Analyze and optimize high and low voltage electrical systems, improving the efficiency and reliability of the wind farm infrastructure.
    • Integrate new technologies and expand electrical infrastructure in wind farms and substations.
    • Monitor and remotely control electrical systems to ensure efficient operation and minimize outages.
    • Study grid stability and integration solutions.


    Qualifications:

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience working with electrical infrastructure, specifically in wind farms and substations.
    • Fluent in Spanish (working proficiency required), and English (intermediate to advanced level for technical communication).


    Bonus points if you have:

    • Technical Certification/Safety Training in BST/GWO to work in wind farms.
    • Experience with wind energy software tools such as wind resource assessment software, turbine performance modeling software, and design software is highly valued.
    • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to wind energy.
    • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing O&M activities.
    • Experience with troubleshooting electrical defects in high and low voltage systems.
    • Knowledge of grid integration and stability solutions for wind energy.
    • Familiarity with remote monitoring systems and optimizing electrical performance.
