We are searching for an Environmental Compliance Manager to work for our client who provide innovative engineering solutions for processing various waste streams into sustainable products for global infrastructure. The successful Environmental Compliance Manager will oversee compliance across all environmental, planning, permitting, and waste aspects of company operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the company's rapid expansion plans with a role that will continue to grow overtime to encompass the need for further sites and activities.
Example of Responsibilities
Evaluate new opportunities for compatibility with company operations against regulatory standards.
Manage applications and variations to the Environment Agency (EA) and Local Planning Authority (LPA).
Supervise planning and permitting contractors including LVIA and noise assessment contractors.
Implement and oversee Integrated ISO Management System for ongoing compliance.
Provide support for Stakeholder Management.
Develop budgets and timelines for applications on selected sites.
Collaborate with engineering team for proposal and site plan alignment with regulations.
Analyse legal documents and legislation to evaluate project impact.
Experience/ Skills Required
Strong experienced in EA and LPA application submissions.
Hold WAMITAB Level 4 qualification.
Experience in heavy industrial application submissions.
Proficiency in managing contractors and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to implement integrated management systems like PAS 99, ISO 14001 & 9001.
Possession of a valid driving license.
Degree in Environmental Protection or equivalent is desired but not essential.
