Electrician - Solar PV

Our client, a leading provider of rooftop solar solutions for the commercial sector, is experiencing significant growth and expanding their team. We are seeking fully qualified electricians with experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in the installation of Solar PV systems.

Experience with Solar PV installs within a commercial setting would be extremely advantageous.

You must be confident in completing installs with both team members, but also on your own. Candidates based in or around the Birmingham area would be ideal.

You must be happy to travel where required.

Duties:

• Install, configure, and connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components according to design specifications
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connection of solar PV systems to existing electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to solar panel systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of equipment, materials used, and work performed.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 NVQ Electrical installations
• 18th Edition
• 2391 test and inspection
• Previous experience in solar panel installation or renewable energy projects is preferred.
